Hero boxes are care packages that we send to children who are facing the battle of childhood cancer. Every Hero box is tailored to individual children based upon the information provided by their parent/guardian. We take great care in making these hero boxes special to each and every superhero that receives one.
The Sidekick Program focuses on the siblings of each small but mighty hero. We tailor care packages to individual siblings based upon the information provided by their parent/guardian. We take great care in making these care packages special to each and every sidekick that receives one.
Our Battle Pack program provides much-needed nutritional options for both child and parent as they are crashed into the world of oncology. Due to the stressors of childhood cancer, a child spends an extensive amount of time in hospital and parents are right by their bedside. Here at SBMH, we will provide nutritional shakes, protein bars, coffee and tea to aid in the times away from home when a healthy meal is much needed.
The Hero Survival Program offers gift cards and prepaid funding to help families in their battle against childhood cancer. Offerings include gas cards, meal cards, hotel stays, etc. Each of these offerings are specialized per family, case and available funding.
10 year old Benjamin selflessly donated his superhero figures for children battling cancer. Honoring his wish, we here, at Small but Mighty Heroes, have launched a program in his name.
The Benjamin program offers a superhero figure and Barbie survivor doll to a child battling cancer and will be a sidekick through treatment, procedures, surgeries, sick times and fun times. This sidekick represents companionship, security, hope, encouragement and empowerment.
To see just how impactful these superheroes are, parents photograph and tag SBMH to share where their journey takes them and how helpful they are to these small but mighty heroes.
